Our backup labelling system in the math dept at PSU was pretty pathetic, because we all had crappy handwriting and it was too much of a pain, anyway. I wrote this program so that we could just type in the junk, print it out, and be done with it. I originally wrote it in /bin/sh, but it was too junky, so in a fit of idiocy, I rewrote it in perl which makes it even worse..
